Hello Barbara! Harrison and Melanie had a wonderful time on their honeymoon! They loved the hotels and restaurants you chose for them. They enjoyed Antonella very much. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. They took all your suggestions for places to walk and see in Rome and when they were down in Sorrento and Positano as well! So all of your planning and work were much appreciated and come with high praise. They also enjoyed their cooking class and dinner. It was a fun evening. They have wonderful memories for their honeymoon, thank you so much! There was only a small glitch…but it was rectified immediately. When they got ready to go on the tour of the farm whilst down in Sorrento the guide didn’t show up. They quickly called him (because you gave them all the phone numbers luckily) and he came right away and was delightful and informative. But for some reason, he didn’t have them in his diary. But Harrison said he came right over as soon as he called him and things worked out beautifully. So all in all a flawless trip and beautifully planned. Thanks again for your knowledge and love of Italy. Harrison and Melanie are now in love with Italy and want to visit again and again! As do I?

Good morning, Barbara! I would love to have your help in planning this holiday. You may have to be our ‘voice of reason’! We have already seen Tuscany, Rome and Pisa, so there is no need to head in this direction. Our priority is to see the Amalfi Coast area and Pompeii (daughter fascinated by this). If we have the time, we would love to see parts of Puglia as well…staying in the caves, etc.. We are the type of family that loves the ‘true’ experience versus staying in the big name hotels. However, we are also not massively big spenders. A car is not an issue…we will have one. Xx

Hi Barbara, I am a mother of two seniors and along with some of their friends and perhaps a few moms we would like to organize a trip for Spring break. I was thinking of taking the group to Puglia and was looking at all the amazing activities on your website (cooking, horseback riding, wine tasting, etc.). Can you recommend an itinerary for us? We will be at least 2 moms so we can rent cars no problem. I was thinking of staying at 2 different locations: 1 country side and 1 at a “cool for the young” port city where they can go out to restaurants, clubs, etc. (They will all be 18!) Also, I saw that some hotels open only in the summer season. I am trying to be as inclusive as possible so want to keep costs at a reasonable level. I think the teenagers can share rooms. Perhaps the moms will pay more for their own rooms. Any recommendations would be wonderful or if you even have a package already made, even better. I know the weather is still cold but a trip to the beach is always nice also. Finally, if you think we should check out another region in Italy, that could also be an option. Thank you!

Hi Barbara, I would like to start planning a trip to Italy for May. This trip will include myself, my husband and our two young sons (21 and 19). We feel there’s so much to see in Italy and would like to see the best places in less than 2 weeks time (possibly only 10 days). We hope to include The Amalfi Coast. In a nutshell, we had an amazing time. All of the hotels were perfect in every way. Tour guides were all terrific and we tip them all well! Everywhere we went people and businesses were following COVID procedures. We never had any concerns. There was so few people vacationing we could get around easily and see and do so much more! Barbara, I am so happy about our first of many future Dolomite ski holidays. I would like to e-introduce my good friend Maria who is looking to holiday in the area. I have told her how much we loved Hotel Continental and how easy it was to navigate the area. We loved the food and the different routes around from the front door of the hotel to ski. All your suggestions and advice were invaluable to make our first ski holiday to Val Gardena a place to love forever. We already plan a hike trip for summer or fall. Barbara, you were SO helpful! We enjoyed ourselves so much. We now know why the others hotel guests we met have returned for 15 and 20 years. It is a well run family hotel.
