The trip can be tailor made towards relaxation or active exploration. Experiences/Extras can be added to enrich the holidays with special memories. Here is a first proposal to start!

Day - 1

Sorrento

Arrive at the airport and head to your hotel in Sorrento, where your adventure begins. Stroll through the village’s charming main square, soak up the lively atmosphere, and take in stunning views. Visit a local cheese maker to savor freshly made mozzarella and sample Sorrento’s famous limoncello. End your first day with a romantic dinner at one of the waterfront trattorias.

14:00 - 19:00

Day - 2

Positano, Amalfi & Ravello

Pick up at the hotel to explore the popular seaside villages. Get lost in the tiny streets of Positano, gazing at art galleries and shopping the local stylish outfit with flowers shirts and leather sandals. Visit the imponent Cathedral in Amalfi before heading to hilltop Ravello. On the edge of the pedestrian stone village, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone clings to the cliffs with spectacular swoon-inducing sea views. It’s possible to reserve a panoramic restaurant hosted in an ancient monastery, if you will depart early from Sorrento in order to reach Ravello at lunch time.

9:00 - 17:00

Day - 3

Capri

Take an early hydrofoil to the glamorous island of Capri. Ride the chairlift to Monte Solaro for sweeping views of the island and the endless blue sea. Stroll down cobbled streets to chic ‘La Piazzetta,’ buzzing with stylish cafés and boutiques, then follow the lemon-scented path to Punta Tragara. At the marina, hop on a boat to visit the Blue Grotto or enjoy a leisurely cruise around the island.

9:00 - 18:00

Day - 4

Pompeii & Herculaneum

Take the train to Pompeii and Herculaneum and explore these remarkable archaeological sites, both listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. While Pompeii is a must-see, as it’s the more famous of the two, Herculaneum is actually better preserved due to being covered by ash rather than lava.

9:30 - 16:00

Day - 5

Naples

Take the hydrofoil to Naples and explore the city at your own pace. Wander through the historic city center, discover the story of St. Gennaro’s miracle at the Cathedral and admire the stunning Veiled Christ in the Cappella di San Severo. Don’t miss the iconic wood-fired Margherita pizza and indulge in delicious pastries like Sfogliatella and Baba, paired with the shortest coffee of your life.

9:00 - 19:00

Day - 6

Flight back

Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport, stopping on your way for a last visit (to a winery or to an archaeological site), if your flight back allows!

Romantic getaways, honeymoons, family reunions, groups of friends.
  • Best time to go
The area is fascinating the whole year around. However, villages are lively from April until October when the weather is warm and sunny. Swimming is possible from June until October. I personally would go in November, still warm and sunny but more authentic and also cheaper!
